Getting loose for practice was especially easy this week, thanks in large part to the warm temperatures which kept the team's spirits high.
The team spent Tuesday practicing in front of numerous MLB front office personnel for the Huskies' annual scout day. The position players ran the 60-meter dash before taking batting practice, working on field drills and playing a short scrimmage.
UW batters took some hacks against their teammates.
The Huskies' hurlers had a chance to show off their stuff too.
Practicing at Husky Ballpark definitely has its advantages, especially when the sun is out and Mt. Rainier is visible in the distance beyond the right-field fence.
