Pac-12 Championships

The Huskies battled in Tucson, finishing 4th in the men's championship and 5th on the women's side.

champions

Izzi Batt-Doyle captured the 10k title, Elijah Mason won the discus, and Hannah Rusnak won the heptathlon.

pole vault

Annika Dayton made the podium in the pole vault clearing 13-4 1/2 with Makenna Barton also tying for seventh. The men had Chase Smith finish fourth in the vault and Blaise Black score in seventh.

sprints

The sprinters were led by Evan Mafilas and Kemuel Santana who scored their first individual Pac-12 points. Mafilas was 8th in the 400m in 47.06 and Santana was 7th in the 200m in 21.05.

javelin

Seniors Denham Patricelli and Katherine Taylor both launched career-bests in the javelin. Patricelli held the lead at 241-6 until he was edged on the final throw but still won silver. Taylor threw 155-4 to finish in fifth-place and earn a trip to Prelims.

hurdles

Hannah Rusnak added to her heptathlon points with a 6th-place finish in the open 100m hurdles. Then Cass Elliott and Darhian Mills posted matching 4th-place finishes in the 400m hurdles, both running the #4 times in school history

Steeplechase

The Huskies scored the most points of any team in both steeplechase races. Emily Hamlin was Pac-12 runner-up and Shona McCulloch was 5th. Julius Diehr and Alex Slenning went 4-5 for the men and Nick Laccinole was 7th.

discus

Elijah Mason became the first Husky since 1976 to win the men's discus title, taking the lead on his final throw of 189-7. Jonah Wilson PR'd four times to take 4th at 186-10.

1500-meters

The Huskies went 5-for-5 in qualifying to the 1500m finals. Katie Rainsberger and Allie Schadler finished 4-5 to lead the way in the finals.

jumps

Jaylen Taylor flew to the podium in the triple jump with a third-place finish, going 49-1. Sam Richmond also jumped a PR of 24-3 to take 8th in the long jump.

800-meters

Connor Morello was 4th and Devan Kirk 6th to score in the men's 800-meters for the second straight season.

10,000-meters

Izzi Batt-Doyle won her first conference title in the 10k while Tibs Procor was 4th and Tanner Anderson 8th in the men's 10k.

Shot and Hammer

Jonah Wilson finished 5th in the shot put at 62-5 3/4 and Angel Nkwonta earned her first Pac-12 points finishing 7th at 49-1 1/2

relays

Both 4x400m relays won their heats in season-best times, the men running 3:09.22 for 4th and a spot at NCAA Prelims and the women 3:40.16 to take 6th. The women's 4x1 also finished 7th for 2 points.
