And, with that kind of success, attention follows.
“It’s been kind of weird, because you’re getting all this attention and we’re not really used to that, but it’s been a really great experience and I think we earned it,” Adams said.
But, while the experience has been unique, this is why Adams decided to play for Washington.
“This is why every kid came here, to get to the top, to win a lot of games, to do all the stuff we’re doing,” he said. “I knew we’d be good this year. I didn’t know we’d be quite this good. You always have faith in your team, but we played our cards right, got a little luck and we’re doing well.”
