The University of Washington, head coach Chris Petersen, player families, and Husky fans took part in honoring 15 seniors prior to Saturday’s kickoff on Montlake.

UW got rolling in the first quarter on a 26-yard TD run from freshman Chico McClatcher. The Dawgs would go on to register 443 yards of total offense and six touchdowns (1 defensive) on the day.

Myles Gaskin found the paint for the first time on a 2-yard rush at the 1:21 mark of the second quarter. The Dawgs drove 70 yards on seven plays to build a 17-3 advantage going into the break.

At the 9-minute mark of the third quarter, Sidney Jones intercepted a Washington State pass and took it back 69 yards for the score.

Jake Locker was honored as a Husky Legend during the third quarter of Saturday’s 108th Apple Cup.

Myles Gaskin picked up his second TD of the game on a 5-yard run at the 14:55 mark of the fourth quarter. The Dawgs grew their lead to 21 points (31-10) on the play.

Gaskin has a day

Myles Gaskin ran for 138 yards and two touchdowns to help Washington defeat Washington State 45-10 in the 108th Apple Cup game. The Seattle native became the first true freshman in the history of the program to run for 1000 yards in a season. He also set a record for freshman rushing touchdowns in a season with 10.
